My grandfather was one of the original founders of this church. I served many a liturgy as an alterboy. I remember the banquet hall vividly, where many weddings were held, movies on Sunday afternoon (thank you Bishop Bilock), the professor and cantor trying to teach us slovanic when we were young, and catechism classes in the basement of the church in preparation for First Holy Communion. The then Father Bilock was a customer of mine as I delivered the morning Post Gazette newspaper. Found memories for sure.
